Softcom Computer Institute was established in 1997 by Mr. Shashank Agarwal in Kota, Rajasthan at a time when computer education was still a novelty in most Indian cities. Starting with just a handful of computers and a belief that practical skills matter more than theory, Softcom quickly grew into the region's most respected training centre.
Over the decades, the curriculum has evolved alongside technology from DOS and Windows basics in the early years, to Tally Prime, GST accounting, Advanced Excel, and e-governance tools today. Through it all, the core philosophy has remained unchanged: every student deserves hands-on practice on real systems, taught by experienced trainers who understand what employers actually need.
Today, Softcom holds the ISO 9001:2015 quality certification, serves as an authorised Tally training centre, and is one of the few official VMOU RSCIT exam centres in Kota. With a 4.9-star Google rating and an 88% placement rate, the institute's track record speaks for itself.
